Dr. Holmes is an angel in disguise.
When she arrived at my home on a cold November night, to help Virgil, my 15-year old Golden mix to cross over, her warmth filled the room and assured us that everything would be all right. She has a wonderful, comforting bedside manner, and she knew just what to say and do to ease the process for both myself, and for Virgil. I had never had to do this before, but I was confident that things would go smoothly, with her in charge.
It truly was seemless, and I felt (and still feel) so fortunate that I was able to be at home, with my baby, my arms wrapped around his tired body, and to hold him while he took his final breath. I am no longer afraid to go through this with another pet, all because of Dr. Holmes. It was truly a beautiful thing to be able to relieve him of his pain and exhaustion, in the safety and comfort of his home and in his own bed. Dr. Holmes is a gifted Vet, as well as a compassionate and empathetic human being.

Robin-
Your presence during the loss of our beloved Ella has been a gift to our family. We are so very grateful for the time and support you bestowed upon us. Because Ella was able to pass at home it truly gave the children and I an opportunity to walk alongside death in a healthy manner.
In deep gratitude, Jennifer.
Dr. Robin,
Thank you for being so caring during this last year. We are so grateful to you for helping us with this very difficult decision. "Koko" brought 16 1/2 years of love, joy, comfort and friendship to our family. She deserves the dignity you bring to her today.
