I've been a veterinarian for the past 20 years, an active participant in the countless joys and sorrows that come with welcoming pets into our homes and our hearts. Although my focus as a doctor is primarily medical and surgical, I have always felt a strong need to provide extra support to people facing end of life issues for their pets.
Over the years, I've offered euthanasia at home, whenever I could within the
confines of daily practice. With the opening of my new practice Gifts Of Peace, I'm now able to devote my time to helping pet owners say goodbye with grace and dignity in the comfort of home.
I'm currently practicing part-time at Best Friends Animal Hospital in Valley Village, CA. I live in Pasadena with my husband and two children and our furry family members: the unstoppable poodle “Ziggy” and our new puppy "Gemios".
